Really neat, your family back in Mexico won't have enough of it, I'm sure.

The greens make the win here -in my humble opinion, that is-.

I really like your coloring style it's very lively and playful, I crave to do such things with mine but everything I do seems to be very opaque, I don't know, practice and more focus on discreet tones that can reinforce the piece I guess (unless you have some other advice, would be more than appreciated).

Good luck on 38Studios, sounds like a pretty demanding, yet very cool job!

Hmmm...When I started painting with bright colors I tried to force myself out of the idea that "colors out of the tube" are bad. Stricking the right balance is hard, but I find that bold colors can bring life to a picture.

The face looks a little orange-- I think you could actually make it pop more if it was a lighter colour. this is lovely :)

I don't think it's as orange in the original, it's always a bit of a toss when I tweak it for monitors.
