Both the Winter Piece and the Marriage Proposal got critiques that I will never forget.
The Trees in this piece look like the trees on the 'Flight cover' And nobody could stop remarking about Thumbelina's chest in the Marriage Proposal painting. They're toned down some, I think. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. I love the warmth and solace of the tiny cottage. It looks like the sort of place I'd like to be on a winter night.
Hooray for color theory. I just went out and purchased a bunch of acrylics myself so that I can... *gasp* ...teach myself color and composition this summer! I'll try to force myself to start today.
How's your summer so far? I miss everyone already....
